During a beautiful late summer weekend in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, Mountain Valley partnered with our friends at RT Lodge in Maryville, Tenn. to celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary of Blackberry Farm Brewery for a weekend of great southern BBQ, great southern beer and, of course, great southern premium spring water set on the woodsy campus of Maryville College.
RT Lodge Executive Chef Trevor Stockton and visiting chefs Elliott Moss, Rick Mace, and David Rule joined forces to present an exceptional BBQ feast that paired with craft brews from Blackberry Farm Brewery (TN), Bearded Iris (TN), Burial Beer Co (NC), Fullsteam Brewery (NC), Edmund’s Oast Brew Co (SC), and Good Word Brewing (GA).
The weather was perfect for the weekend of activities that included indulgent cocktail hours, a BBQ Field Day complete with bites from all participating chefs and intimate coursed outdoor dinners.
The team at RT Lodge created signature cocktails featuring Mountain Valley Spring Water, including a Strawberry Key Lime Spritz and Whiskey Peach Tea, they kindly shared their recipes here.
