Our SOBE Mountain Valley Spring Water warriors are just getting settled back into their respective corners of the world after spending four thrilling days running around Miami, Florida, handing out water and making new friends along the way. We got to participate in over 20 different events and happenings as part of the South Beach Food and Wine Festival hosted by The Food Network. We enjoyed tasting some of the finest foods and wines this destination festival favorite had to offer.
Mountain Valley’s proudest moment was being the palate cleansing water of choice at the Best of the Best event, where over 60 of the nation’s top chefs showed up to show off their most gourmet eats with over 100 perfectly paired fine wines to choose from. We took so much pride in having our water in the hands of everyone enjoying the fantastic eats of a truly star studded list of world renowned chefs and celebrities, such as Emeril Lagasse, Jorge Ramos, Andrew Zimmern, Anne Burrell, Katie Lee, Kristin Cavallari, and the list goes on and on.
We were also delighted to be featured at Marcus Samuelsson's Harlem to Overtown Jazz Brunch and SOBE’s Southern Kitchen Brunch hosted by Trisha Yearwood.
The sounds and sights were just as magical as the food and wines we sampled, and each event was thoughtfully themed to delight the diverse crowd of foodies who flocked to the festival. We were captivated over and over, from the Craft-y Happy Hour hosted by Marc Murphy to Katie Lee’s Yappie Hour and Josh Capon’s Oyster Bash. We traveled all over South Beach, Florida for Clambake hosted by Emeril Lagasse, Lucky Chopsticks hosted by Andrew Zimmern, Rooftop Rose hosted by Kristin Cavallari, Midnight Eats hosted by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Chicken Coupe hosted by Andrew Carmellini and many more! Honestly, we can’t believe how much we were able to pack into those four days, but we can’t wait to do it again next year.
