Our Mountain Valley team had a hard time leaving the scenic landscape of Nantucket where we took part in the 22nd annual Nantucket Wine & Food Festival, May 16-20.
The Nantucket Wine & Food Festival began in 1996 as a one-day Grand Tasting event held on the beach in Siasconset, the easternmost tip of the island.
This festival has come a long way since its inception, becoming one of the nation’s most celebrated wine and food events attracting chefs, vintners, wineries, and restaurants from across the globe.
Mountain Valley was the exclusive water sponsor of this year’s event, which kicked off with a Harbor Gala at the White Elephant hotel on Thursday, the 17th. Mountain Valley had two water stations set up among the food and wine exhibitors. On Friday and Saturday, Mountain Valley was set up at the Culinary Village on Jetties Beach with a water station alongside the chef cooking demonstrations and served pure American goodness during the wine seminars in town. Saturday and Sunday Mountain Valley was back at the White Elephant for all three of the Grand Tasting events.
This was a special experience for our team in more than one way. Not only did we get to hydrate thousands of eager attendees in a beautiful setting, but we also got to share our brand with a whole new market in New England. Consumers loved the naturally pure, fresh taste of America’s premium spring water and we opened the door to many new opportunities with restaurants, vintners and distributors.
The Nantucket Wine & Food Festival was a truly action-packed weekend in a welcoming atmosphere unlike anywhere else, and we hope you will join us again next time!
