Now, Mace is taking the South Florida culinary scene by storm with his refreshing take on Florida BBQ.
After a decade helming the finest kitchen on Palm Beach, Pit-Master, Local Business Owner, and Gator Dad Rick Mace hung up his Chef Whites, grabbed a shovel, and set his mind to teaching the world that Florida is more than a vacation destination - it’s the beginnings of American BBQ. 
Tropical Smokehouse is Florida’s own Craft Barbecue. From the Panhandle Oak to their chef-sourced ingredients, they are bringing BBQ back to its roots of slow fires, patient preparation, and people gathering. No gimmicks - no saucy coverups.
