Recipes Made With Only Flour and Water

by Mountain Valley | May 19, 2016

Mountain Valley Spring Water is naturally pure and filled with healthy minerals, making it an ideal foundation for simple cooking.

We gathered four recipes featuring the most basic duo of ingredients – flour and water. The variety comes from the method of cooking. Once you’ve perfected these simple recipes, feel free to experiment with spices and fresh herbs. It’s an easy way to take a basic dish and make it your own!

Ingredients:

Flour: We used whole-wheat flour. Feel free to try out these recipes with whichever type of flour is in your pantry (all-purpose, self-rising, oat, etc), but expect that the resulting consistency might be different.

Water: Mountain Valley Spring Water, of course! We used spring water at room temperature.

You’ll also need oil for cooking – olive oil, vegetable oil, whatever you have in your pantry will work.
