Summer Music Festivals - What To Pack

By: Mountain Valley Spring

Summer festival season is upon us. From coast to coast many of your favorite recording artists will grace stages all summer long. Whether you’re a hip-hop head, a rock-n-roller or a country music fan, there is a show out there for you.

In order to get fully prepared for summer festival season, we’ve put together a checklist of items you should have for your summertime music excursions.

Tent, Sleeping Bag, Chair etc.

Multiple day festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo generally have campgrounds for ticket buyers to spend the night on festival grounds. Everything you’d need for a regular camping trip should be packed up for festival camping, including a nice tent, warm sleeping bag, chairs and a small generator.

Charged Up

Portable chargers are not all created equal. Bring a charger that is strong enough to provide multiple charges to cell phones and tablets.

So Fresh and So Clean

Festivals provide bathrooms, but the hand sanitizer goes quick. Always best to bring your own. Wipes are also essential.

Staying in the sun all day without adequate protection is a no no. Bring plenty of sunscreen and chapstick for you and your friends.

Eat Up

If you’re a picky eater or have food allergies, the culinary selection may not be up to your standards. Pack a cooler with what you’d like to eat and don’t forget the ice. Dry items like protein bars and trail mix are a must.

Stay Hydrated

In addition to the adult beverages that are bound to be consumed at a festival, be sure to bring along a case or two of your favorite Mountain Valley Spring Water flavors.

Now you’re ready to have an awesome time. No matter what music festival you plan on going to this summer, please take plenty of pics and tag us at @mountainvalleywater, so we can virtually join in on the fun.
