New Orleans Wine and Food Experience Recap

The past few weeks have been full of excitement for us at Mountain Valley Spring Water with festival fun from coast to coast.  We’ve met and connected with so many creative individuals of varied backgrounds, which has strengthened our ability to share our brand and message with the masses. 

On May 23-27, we were in New Orleans for the 26th annual New Orleans Wine & Food Experience, one of the best culinary events in the nation attracting hundreds of wineries, restaurants, foodies, and even art and music lovers. Attendees are treated to unique menus featuring local flavors and innovative new creations inspired by diverse cuisines. 

Each year, all proceeds from this event go to causes that support culinary education. This year’s worthy recipient was Nunez Community College Culinary Arts Program. 

Mountain Valley Spring Water was a key sponsor at New Orleans Wine & Food Experience, and featured prominently in many ways. On the evening of Wednesday, May 23rd, our 1-liter spring and sparkling water was the exclusive water at all the Wine dinners, which occurred at 25 different restaurants. 

The following evening, our 500ml PET bottles were passed out at our own booth at the Royal Street Stroll, where guests strolling along Royal Street could taste wines and different dishes from local restaurants at various stops along the way. This was led parade style by the Krewe of Cork, a world-famous wine industry phenomenon, with several renowned winemakers serving as Grand Marshals. 
We were also involved in the Grand tastings on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Mountain Valley had its very own branded lounge and bar, where we handed out 333ml Spring and Sparkling bottles, and allowed guests to sample our flavored essence waters. Our lounges were packed during both tasting events, and guests told us how much they enjoyed the fresh taste and great mouth feel.

The New Orleans Wine & Food Experience was a truly unforgettable experience for us. We were able to develop some great restaurant and winery contacts, and grow our brand presence in the area.
