Mountain Valley Wins Again at Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting

We are extremely proud to continue our winning streak with three new medals at the annual Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting.

This year’s 29th annual tasting on February 23rd included a field of more than 100 waters from around the world. Mountain Valley Spring Water walked away with two gold medals for our Sparkling and Blackberry Pomegranate Sparkling. In addition, White Peach Sparkling won the Bronze in the Flavored Essence Sparkling category that had twice as many entrants as last year.

The one day event, known as the Academy Awards of Water, recognizes excellence in multiple categories including Best Municipal Water, Bottled Water, Sparkling Water, Purified Water and Flavored Essence Sparkling Water. Ten media judges from various regional and national outlets took part in hours of tasting, tasked with rating each entry on numerous attributes including appearance, aroma, taste, mouth-feel and aftertaste.
