At Mountain Valley, improving the quality of life in the communities we serve is an important part of what we do. That’s why we support a wide variety of events in communities across the country. These are just a few examples. City Year – This organization promotes community service in cities across the country. We’ve supported local events as well as City Year's national meeting. Robin Hood Foundation – This charitable foundation works with the best poverty-fighting non-profit organizations in New York City and gives every cent of every donation directly to programs helping poor New Yorkers. We’re proud to donate Mountain Valley Spring Water to Robin Hood’s annual fundraiser. http://www.robinhood.org Hooked on Fishing - Not on Drugs ® – Used in over 30 states, this program is offered to Arkansas schools and was developed by the Future Fisherman Foundation in response to a letter from a boy explaining how fishing helped him keep away from drugs. Mountain Valley has supported this program for nearly a decade. http://www.futurefisherman.org Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation – We’re proud to support the VFW by providing Mountain Valley Spring Water to active-duty military personnel and their families for selected events. http://www.vfwfoundation.org / Hot Springs Music Festival – Mountain Valley Spring Company is proud to support this annual festival of classical music. Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival – This popular event has grown to become one of the marquee dates on the calendar for both filmmakers and filmgoers. We’re proud to support it and the arts in our hometown. http://www.hsdfi.org/about.htm Mountain Valley Spa 10K and 5K – This race takes runners on a scenic but challenging route past historic Bath House Row in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas. Of course, we’re proud to support a healthy lifestyle and a fun race in our own community. Little Rock Marathon – This annual spring race attracts thousands of runners and walkers of all ages. We’re proud to support what has become one of the best marathons in the country. http://www.littlerockmarathon.com Race for the Cure – We’re proud to support this 5K run/fitness walk and the Susan G. Komen Foundation in its efforts to fight breast cancer. We support every Race for the Cure held in the cities of company-owned water delivery operations. |
